Are you dealing with
Does your child struggle in school and have difficulty learning?
Do you want to find a healthy outlet for your child’s emotions?
Are you looking for something for your child to do after school?
Finding an activity to hold your child’s interest is a challenge.
Kids’ attention spans are short and they sometimes struggle to stay focused on any one activity. It can be frustrating to try different things only to have your child reject them.
The musical instruction we provide at Market Muscles might be the answer to your problems. Kids love music – and we pride ourselves on understanding the way kids learn and giving them what they need to develop a lifelong love of music.
Results and growth with every class!
Your child might struggle to focus in a large classroom, which is why we’ve put our focus on one-on-one instruction with qualified teachers. Our musical instructors understand how to open kids up to the world of music and give them the guidance they need to learn how to play the instrument of their choice.
Learning to Play an Instrument Helps Kids’ Brains
Studies show that kids who receive musical instruction have better memories and better cognitive skills than kids who don’t study music.
There’s also a direct correlation between math ability and musical instruction, so children who are struggling in school can benefit from learning to play an instrument.
Music Relieves Stress and Improves Self-Expression
Listening to music is one of the best ways to reduce stress – and the same goes for learning to play an instrument. Kids who play an instrument tend to be less stressed out than kids who don’t.
Music provides kids with a healthy way to express their emotions, too. As they learn to play, kids learn to put feeling into their music and that can help them control emotional outbursts at home and at school.
Musical Instruction Increases Kids’ Self-Confidence
Even the shyest child can benefit from learning to play a musical instrument. Kids who study music improve steadily and that helps them feel good about themselves.
And because learning to play an instrument can improve school performance and relieve stress, kid musicians often experience a huge leap in their self-esteem after they start studying.
